We’re so excited that fall is here!
With the arrival of glorious autumn comes the opportunity to indulge in some cool DIY projects. Thanks to Halloween and Thanksgiving, the project possibilities in the fall seasons are endless!
Here we have assembled some easy, fun ideas that make for super awesome fall crafts.
1. Fall Leaf Potato Stamping
This good old potato stamp activity is perfect for all age groups. For this fall craft, you will need to have a potato cut in half, a white sheet, a black marker, and color paints.
Take the white sheet and draw a leafless tree with the marker. Now use the potato as a stamp, dip it in orange, yellow, and red paints. Now cover the tree with beautiful potato stamps. You will discover amazing stamps of fall leaves on the white sheet!
2. Fall Leaf Crown
This is really a fun activity that would really get your kids going. Go to the yard with your kids and ask them to pick as many fall leaves as they can.
Now turn a long thin strip of cardboard into a headband. Using the hot glue, paste all the collected fall leaves onto the headband. And tada! Your fall crown is ready!
3. Fall Leaf Letters
Another creative way to use fall leaves is by turning them into alphabets. Allow your kids to collect fall leaves. Now arrange the leaves in the shape of any letter – it could be the first letter of your name.
Glue it on a piece of paper and hang it on your bedroom wall!
4. Nature Painting
Ask your kids to go out in the yard and collect different kinds of natural materials such as pine cones, sticks, leaves, stones, wood chips, and tree bark.
Now let them paint different textures of these goodies and have fun!
